The virgin nature, rocks, tree and bushes will take your breath way. Along the way we will make make short stops for photos and to admire the breathtaking view of the coast. You may encounter several types of wild flowers and birds too. We follow a path that leads on the top of the hill. It will take approximately 90 minutes to get to the top. Once we arrive there we can admire the stunning view of the sea of Saranda, the lagoon of Butrinti and the beaches. We visit the old monastery of Saint George. The legends tells that Saint George spared a King’s daughter from the curse and killed a dragon. You will learn more about the history of the site and the living of the monks. Next we go downhill through an exciting path where we can see shepherds and their flock. The terrain is suitable for raising goats and the villages around are well known for the goat cheese.
